What was the goal?
A studio that can be used by one person through automation, several stages for various applications and ground clearance for quick changes between stages.
The many years of diverse experience of TACT MEDIA employees were particularly appreciated for this project.
Upshot
- Extensive automation of technology with network-compatible tools. In this way, recurring processes such as camera changes with zoom and focus can be carried out by the speakers themselves at the push of a button on a controller in the control room or on a tablet. In addition, the display of external content such as PowerPoints or remote speakers from Teams, Zoom or similar tools. With automated intros and belly bands, inserts no longer have to be added in post-production and successful recordings and live streams can be used directly.
- A physical desk set in blogger format is set up as standard with two cameras. In addition, a second stage with green screen for flexible display of external content in the virtual 3D studio, which was created specifically for MMH Consulting. A digital white board is available as an interactive option.
- For trip-free stage changes and a tidy view of the studio without stands, all video lights and cables were routed over a 35 square meter studio truss. The truss was suspended directly from the concrete ceiling and offers a high load capacity even for future upgrades.
